First off was TF:ROTF (please know what that means).
I liked it. True, I think there were parts I'd rather censor since they were plotless, crude, a/o unnecessary, but I had no problem with what WAS plot-worthy. The desert scene didn't bug me, nor did it feel too long because there was constant action.
My favorite scene: Bumblebee losing his temper with the twins and literally knocking sense into them.
Favorite characters: Bumblebee, Jetfire, and the usual Starscream (Yay! More lines!). I also liked Megatron in here, though it was odd to see him subservient to anyone, even the Fallen! (BTW, did anyone else think it odd that he has Windcharger's power???)
What did bug me: (Outside the obviously uneeded crude scenes). They had Jolt team up with another bot to attatch Jetfire to Optimus. WHY did they make a BRAND NEW character ("Electrify") when Windcharger has the SAME skills? THAT POOR MINIBOT NEEDS SOME ATTENTION, TOO! (First "Electrify", then the Fallen. Poor Charger.) The other thing that bugged me was Wheelie. What happened to him, anyway? The last we see of him is him teasing the Twins and Bumblebee...never mind. I think I figured it out. (Ouch.)
I'm just back from 9.
It was morbidly FASCINATING. There were so many things I thought I'd "figured out" (like I usually do) that were proven completely and utterly wrong. There was a lot of convention breaking, and it was refreshing to see. If you haven't seen it yet, GO SEE IT.
Favorite scene: The one I'll mention involves a single line: "You owe me a cape." I won't spoil it any more than that. (If you're curious, there's a lot of youtube stuff on it now.)
Favorite Character(s): I loved them all. Even 1, though he deserved a little irritation. My favorite characters were the Twins (3 and 4). They were just...so ALIVE. They were constantly moving, touching, trying, thinking, and...good grief I could hardly stop watching them! They were so adorable and intense about everything they did! ...I suppose I should mention that my runner up favorite is 6. He's the vision-seer and the rambler. He's constantly marking things down. I liked how he KNEW things but he couldn't explain them.
So, that's my speal. It's also my warning that I'll be drawing some of these guys pretty soon. Keep an eye out. C:
